Service Credits.
We provide our customers
(Shared, VMWare Virtual and
Dedicated) with service
credits that can be used for
extended support services
such as programming and even
design.
How Service Credits Work. Service credits are like cash that can be
used for extended support services provided by GreenTree Hosting. One service
credit is equal to 1 dollar of service. Depending on your account/package with
us, you are receiving anywhere from a few to a couple hundred service credits
per month. These service credits are "banked" in your account until such time as
you use them, with a maximum of one year's worth of credits that can be accrued.
How To Use Your Service Credits. Using credits is very easy. Simply
request a service via telephone or our ticket system. For larger, non-urgent
jobs, one of our techs will provide you with a service estimate using your
available credits. Once you approve the service estimate, the credits will
automatically be deducted from your account. For smaller or time critical tasks,
credits will simply be deducted from your account and you will be notified.
Rules and Limitations. Credits are only given to customers whose
accounts are current. If past due invoices exist by the first of the month when
credits are usually added, credits will not be added to the account for the
month. Credits cannot be transferred or sold either to another customer or
another account under the same owner. Credits can be used for support,
programming, and design services only, not for hosting or the purchase of
products such as hardware, software, or third party services. For new customers,
credits are not added to the account until the first day of the first full month
of service. Unless otherwise specified, shared hosting accounts get 5 credits
per month, VMWare Virtual accounts get 10 credits per month and dedicated server
accounts get 15 credits per month. You can check how many credits you have in
the customer portal.
