We got our start in 1998 when Maureen Salvatore pitched the Rhode Island State MLS on replacing print classified booklets with a live searchable property database—winning the deal and building the original RILiving.com platform before we wrapped up our involvement around 2001–2002 to focus full-time on commercial web hosting and infrastructure.

Starting as top affiliates at Adgrafix.com, we were recruited into senior executive leadership—where Gene led infrastructure and business development while Maureen managed tens of thousands of international affiliates and beat quota every month before Adgrafix was acquired for $22M+ in 2001.

After bootstrapping 8 racks of servers, merging with Boston Datacenters, and completing a successful sale to TierPoint in 2007, Gene negotiated a $40,000 carve-out ($25K down + $15K from month-one revenue) to launch GreenTree Hosting, LLC—delivering 99.99% uptime across 18+ years alongside 12+ years directing enterprise hospital RTLS deployments and operating 17+ live platforms.
